Training
In collaboration with higher education partners, nestor develops initial and further training courses in the field of digital preservation in Germany.
Nestor aknowledged the demand for training and further education in the field of digital preservation. The collaboration of already existing training institutions and university partners is recorded in a memorandum of understandig since 2007.
They organise the multi-day training event called nestor Schools, which are always anticipated with great interest of the german community.
Another building block of the nestor efforts in comprehensive education and training offers is the "nestor Handbook : An Encyclopaedia in digital Preservation". With every edition the handbook became an important reference
