World Digital Preservation Day
World Digital Preservation Day (WDPD) takes place every year on the first Thursday in November.
The aim of WDPD is to raise awareness for digital archiving worldwide and in society. It originates from an initiative of the Digital Preservation Coalition, which gives the day a new focus each year with a motto.
