Navigation and service

The Sozialistica comprises a selection of publications on the history of the German Labour Movement from 1830 to 1912. The centrepiece is a donation made by the Stuttgart social-democrat publisher Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Dietz, who gave valuable titles from his personel library to the Deutsche Bücherei Leipzig.

The collection of some 2,700 monographs and 660 periodicals has been augmented through antiquarian purchases and is indexed in both publishers and alphabetical catalogues.

The collection can be consulted in the Reading room of the Anne-Frank-Shoah Library.
